Windows Authentication question

I have an application which is deployed on weblogic. The users access it through IIS with windows authentication enabled for the application (All other authentication is disabled). We are trying to have SSO ,wherein the application will get the token from the HTTP header and authenticate the user. The current issue is that we when start the application, for the first time it prompts for the windows authentication box, requesting username and password..if we provide the user name and password, then subsequently all the login's occurs without asking for username and password..As we expect SSO,after the user login to the windows box and access URL,it should open without any prompt. We are trying to figure out is there a way to resolve the issue of initial login prompt. Is there any IIS setting that can stop the prompt window from showing up,I do understand it is because we have Windows authentication but we would like it to get the credentials as the user into login to the windows box with the same username and password and that should be taken by IIS.
