I've set up a website and am testing the connection through "basic settings" in the IIS Manager. In basic settings-edit site-connect as I specified an domainname\userid that has access to inetpub/sitename on the server (the security tab on the properties of the inetpub/sitename on the server specify that the domainname\userid has readandexecute/listfoldercontents/read access to the inetpub/sitename folder). When I operate the "test settings" button on the edit site the connection fails with "user credentials are invalid".
Could someone kindly show me what I need to do to make the connection work? Thanks much in advance for any help, Roscoe
