WebDAV and Apple Mac OS 10.6 iCal App Calendar Publishing Problems

Hello,

I have set up WebDAV on our IIS Server running on Windows Server 2012. For the most part everything works perfectly, but I am having one rather aggravating problem that I seem unable to find a solution to.

After enabling WebDAV for publishing calendars from Apple's iCal and Calendar applications, I am finding that when I am running iCal from a Mac OS 10.6 client I intermittently am unable to publish calendars. It always works for small calendars, but when ics files reach 1.5mb or so they will intermittently fail, the strange part is it is not consistent, sometimes they publish, other times they fail with a message that the server disconnected. When it happens I can see the progress bar that states the calendar data is being sent but about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way through (a few seconds into the transfer) it just stops and returns the error message.

On the same machine running 10.6 I am able to connect to the WebDAV server from the Finder and I can always reliable drag the calendar file to the WebDAV share that way so the problem seems limited to the iCal App and not with Mac OS 10.6 itself. On Macs running 10.7 and newer so far I have not encountered this issue. Also, from iCal on 10.6 I am able to publish to a WebDAV server running under Apache on a Linux server 100% reliably.

I know this is a bit of a long shot as 10.6 is a somewhat old OS now but I am wondering if anyone has any ideas of anything I might be able to set in IIS to get this working as we have many machines running 10.6 and it is not feasible to update all of them to a newer OS at this time.

If more information is needed I would be happy to provide it.

Thank you.
