Windows 2012, IIS, LB and Multiple Websites 1 Nic

Hi IIS Community,

We are running Windows 2012 with IIS and have a single physical NIC.  On this server are three websites with three IP addresses.

Each of the three websites have been configured and work when hitting them directly with the DNS name (sites are bound to their dns names eg. abc1, abc2, abc3), for example connecting tohttp://abc1/websitedir/application.exe works fine.

We then included the first site (eg abc1) to a Load Balancer and whilst we can see traffic going through the Load Balancer and hitting the Windows server, the web request returns a HTTP 404 file not found.  The example url for this ishttp://LBabc1/websitedir/application.exe.

IIS Httperror reports:  10.1.1.10 45236 10.1.2.211 80 HTTP/1.1 GET /websitedir/application.exe 404 - NotFound -  10.1.1.11 38339 10.1.2.211 80 HTTP/0.9 GET / 404 - NotFound -  10.1.1.12 31649 10.1.2.211 80 HTTP/1.1 GET /websitedir/application.exe 404 - NotFound -  10.1.1.10 50319 10.1.2.211 80 HTTP/1.1 GET /websitedir/application.exe 404 - NotFound -

10.1.1.x = LB range. 10.1.2.211 = IP for site abc1

The only work around I have is if I bind the Load Balancer address (LBabc1) on the abc1 website but this then creates issues as I can't connect to the applications admin web page which needs the abc1 path.

Any ideas as to how I can resolve this would be appreciated.

Thank you.
