IIS 8 SSL Binding

Hi all,

I am fairly new here so I apologize in advance if this thread is either on the wrong place or if my issue is solved in the past but I cannot find the article.

I recently accepted a project at work helping to migrate applications to be running on Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard.

These are legacy applications using coldfusion 9. We want to enable SSL and use https using IIS 8.

The SSL cert comes from godaddy and I believe I implemented it right. When it comes to binding, I get an error when I try to bind the SSL to https (port 443)

There was an error while performing this operation.

Details:

A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070520)
