We have a newly installed WS2008 R2 server and receiving an error when trying to view a hosted website. The message is as follows:
“Method 'get_EnableCdn' in type 'System.Web.UI.ScriptManager' from assembly 'System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' does not have an implementation.”
The suggested fix was to modify web.config by removing everything within the <runtime> section. That took care of the error message but causes the website to display incorrectly. However, if the site is opened on the server with VS2010 Express, there is no error and the website displays fine.
Any recommendations or suggestions would be most appreciated.
