I am configuring TFS Reverse Proxy through IIS using URL Rewrite.

How do I configure a outbound rule for rewriting the response contents that are in JSON format? I have to change the Url from "http://tfs.abc.com" to "http://tfs.xyz.com".

The JSON data has attributes like url, authority, href, imageUrl & uri which contain the Url.

for eg:

Hi All,

I have a WebAPI(.net 4.6) and hosted in IIS7.5, One of the action method is written to receive files to the server using PUT verb.
Refered details from the URL and written the code which uses WebHostBuferPolicySelctor to get bufferless stream to receive a file. Multipartformdata MIME type is used here. below is my code

Below is the webapi config settings

IIS Settings (for bigger file size)

maxRequestEntityAllowed = 4294967295

uploadReadAheadSize = 2147483647

Above things are working fine for the file sized up to 800 MB, but when I am trying to upload a file of size >1 GB; I am getting 500 internal server error in managedpipelineHandler module.Its not reaching application code and failed at IIS itself.

411 error page

I want to remove default 411 error page, and show custom error page.

I try to add 411 error cod on "error page", but it doesn't work.

I think 411 error page looks different with other error page like 404, so I guess the solution may be different.

Please give me some advice!!

HTTP Redirect - Different ports

Hi all. Very new to IIS, would love to be steered in the right direction.
I am running 2 applications on a server which both connect to "localhost - 127.0.0.1" on different ports.

Basically I would like to access both applications remotely as such 192.168.1.10:9090 and 192.168.1.10:4679.

I can setup 1 no problem, just add 192.168.1.10:9090 to http redirect and its all good.

If I try to create the 2nd website, the http redirect has the same settings. So I can never put in 2 separate redirects.

I am running into problems accessing the /admin folder backend admin login with the WAF and CDN enabled by the provider. It effectively changes the hosted website’s IP address.

Hi, All

I am facing a problem in several IIS's servers under my reponsibilitiy.

i have several application in the default web site of the iis service, the struture it's like this :

Default web site --> default web application

/APPLICATION --> 1 ASP V4 Application pool (Application pool name :MYAPP_Pool Example) (Physical path is were the build is) | |

| + --- HTML

| |

| + --- plugin (Virtual directory point to physical folder were are other application functionalty)

+-- APPLICATIONWS --->1 ASP V4 Application pool (Application pool name :MYAPP_Pool Example) The same app pool. (Physical path is were the build is)

+---- ApplicationStorage ( a Virtual directory were is application specific appsettings.config file, and other application related information, like logs, etc)

what is happening, is :

the application just hang up and the only solution is restarted or recycle the application pool for this application.

after that in event viewer there is event id 5013 (A process serving application pool 'AppName' exceeded time limits during shut down. The process id was 'Processid'.) and 5138 (A worker process '1234567' serving application pool 'AppName' failed to stop a listener channel for protocol 'http' in the allotted time. The data field contains the error number.)

The application pool it's configure to kill the process if during 1 mins, the cpu limit is above 60%, (killw3wp), in my company we have force this configuration to CPU Limit 5% for time limit 1 mins, then it will kill the process.

Some times it works fine, because it log on event viewer the event id 5025 --> Application pool 'MYAPP_PoolExample' exceeded its job limit settings.

Other times it just throw the event id 5138 (A worker process '90644' serving application pool 'MYAPP_PoolExample' failed to stop a listener channel for protocol 'http' in the allotted time. The data field contains the error number.)

and event id 5013 (A process serving application pool 'MYAPP_PoolExample' exceeded time limits during shut down. The process id was '90644'.)

Can someone point a direction for a solution? please. i am out of options

we are using the same app pool for 2 applications is this corrected? it shouldn't be 1 for which application?

Does the killw3wp behavior, this duality is normal? i do not think it is.

If i used the procdump (sysinternals) for debugging this it will help?

Now I'm creating test environment of our application with Windows Server 2016 in our customer's network.
Our application requires smtp service, and for the test environment, we have a need that e-mail should be sent only to approved addresses of the application sent to.
So I tried to set 'address filtering' for IIS smtp service on the Windows Server 2016, it's configured as a relay to customer's gateway. But I couldn't find out how to set 'address filtering'.
I want to know it is possible or not, and if possible, please tell me how to do it.

We are using a vpn to connect to ess.otis.com/elogsfa123/

I have been using the same link for some time but all of a sudden yesterday it started to redirect me to iis8 homepage.

I have checked the host file and the users is not blocked, however, this still continues to occur.

Hello IIS.NET forum,

A third party vendor set up port 8080 for TCP Port Sharing on one of our application servers. This works fine but I would like to move it from port 8080 to port 8443.

Is this just as simple as adding a NET.TCP binding for 844:* and restarting the Web service? I have the firewall rules in place, too. Please advise,
